Job summary

PT Karunia Pilar Nusantara, an EPC O&G contractor, seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the Cost Control team in West Papua. You will monitor contractor submissions, validate project costs and ensure compliance with contractual and financial requirements on site.

The candidate should have 5–8 years in EPC/oil & gas, strong cost control and reporting skills, and fluency in English. Willingness to work in West Papua and remote site conditions is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in EPC, oil & gas, industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, contract administration and construction reporting.
• Proficient in Excel, Office and cost control software.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Verify Contractors’ Completion Notices, VORs and reimbursable claims.
• Monitor site cost records for manpower, materials and equipment usage.
• Review cost claims and support monthly cost reporting.
• Coordinate with construction teams for cost verification and documentation.
• Prepare verification reports and input on cost trends, risks and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and financial controls.

The ideal candidate will support the Cost Control team by monitoring contractor submissions, validating project costs, and ensuring compliance with contractual and financial requirements on site.

Requirements

Job Descriptions:

Verify Contractors’ Completion Notices, Variation Order Requests (VOR), and reimbursable claims

Monitor and maintain site cost records, including manpower, materials, and equipment usage

Review contractor progress claims and support monthly cost reporting activities

Coordinate with construction teams and contractors for cost verification and documentation

Prepare verification reports and provide input on cost trends, risks, and forecasting

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and financial controls

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Engineering, Construction, or related field

Minimum 5–8 years of experience in EPC, Oil & Gas, industrial, or infrastructure projects

Strong knowledge of cost control, contract administration, and construction reporting

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and relevant cost control software

Good communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills

Fluent in written and spoken English

Willing to work in West Papua and remote site conditions
