Job description
Quality Control Coordinator
PURPOSE

To ensure quality control daily activities are running well as part of site manufacturing operation, which comply with defined quality plan, QHSE key requirement, Integrated management system, lab safety standard and other applicable requirements. Coordinate improvement activities related to quality aspects such as plant experiment, lab trial/testing of new RM/PM, new product and new production process.

MAJOR TASKS
  1. Provide and establish any specification documentation system (i.e. PMS, PGS) and ensure it aligns with Bayer Crop Science requirement and standard.
  2. Coordinate laboratory operation and daily activities and give necessary support to lab analyst to ensure align with QHSE key requirement and act as Lab Safety Specialist.
  3. Manage instrument maintenance needed including calibration to keep analysis activity running well without any disruptions.
  4. Manage laboratory supply, SDS updated and execute QM transactions in implemented Bay4S system and the supported interface including providing COA which is requested by customer.
  5. Maintain documentation to cover all activities and manage the condition in laboratory to comply with implemented system such as ISO 9001, ISO 14000, QHSE Key Requirement and 5S best practice.
  6. Coordinate costumer complain due to quality non conformance, expired product, product return raised by Logistic team and Customer Service.
  7. Coordinate lab testing/trial and provide trail protocol related to new raw material, packaging material, new production process and new product.
  8. Continuously seeking improvement opportunity as part of CI program (RM/PM improvement, cost saving initiatives, lab operation efficiency, etc)
  9. Provide technical advice for production team related to quality aspects.
  10. Identify any risks when abnormal condition in operation appear and propose the preventive measure and report the near-missing condition and improvement idea through Improvement report form.
