Job description

Lead and supervise the laboratory team to ensure compliance with current testing procedures and regulatory requirements.

Review and ensure timely delivery of accurate testing results.

Perform and monitor calibration, instrument qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment to prevent breakdown.

Prepare, revise, and maintain testing methods, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and product specifications.

Oversee the implementation and maintenance of all QC documents in compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.

Execute and review laboratory testing activities as required.

Coordinate and manage activities involving external laboratories (e.g., outsourcing of testing, result review, and qualification).

Support and ensure readiness for internal and external audits (including customer audits), ensuring no major findings.

Conduct or support trial activities and prepare required sample testing.

Ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and other applicable quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical or related field
• Preferably having 8 years’ experience in QC lab within the chemical or related industry
• Fluent in English (oral and written)
• Strong lab skills with hands‑on chemical/analytical testing experience
• Proficient in equipment calibration and qualification
• Knowledge of GMP, GLP, and quality compliance
• Experienced with SAP or LIMS
• Skilled in audit preparation, lab administration, and documentation
• Effective team leadership and mentoring abilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Analytical and data‑driven decision‑making
• Accurate in managing lab records and test data
