We are a leading main construction contractor specializing in data center development. Our projects demand high precision, strong technical knowledge, and strict adherence to cost, quality, and timeline standards. We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team and support the commercial and cost management aspects of our ongoing and upcoming data center projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and manage cost estimates, bills of quantities (BoQ), and tender documentation for data center construction projects.
- Evaluate and compare supplier, vendor, and subcontractor quotations to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct cost control and financial reporting throughout all project stages.
- Manage and monitor variations, change orders, and progress claims.
- Support contract negotiation, procurement, and tender evaluation processes.
- Work closely with the project management, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure cost‑effective project execution.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress, verify quantities, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Prepare monthly valuations, cash flow forecasts, and cost‑to‑complete reports.
- Assist in resolving contractual and commercial disputes.
- Ensure all cost and commercial documentation complies with company standards, policies, and client requirements.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in MEP Engineering or related field, especially has a strong knowledge and experience in Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Quantity Surveyor or Cost Engineer role within construction or infrastructure projects (data center experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, Negotiations, etc.
- Can both speak English and Bahasa
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of MEP systems and data center‑specific infrastructure is an advantage.
