Job description

We are a leading main construction contractor specializing in data center development. Our projects demand high precision, strong technical knowledge, and strict adherence to cost, quality, and timeline standards. We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team and support the commercial and cost management aspects of our ongoing and upcoming data center projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, review, and manage cost estimates, bills of quantities (BoQ), and tender documentation for data center construction projects.
  • Evaluate and compare supplier, vendor, and subcontractor quotations to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Conduct cost control and financial reporting throughout all project stages.
  • Manage and monitor variations, change orders, and progress claims.
  • Support contract negotiation, procurement, and tender evaluation processes.
  • Work closely with the project management, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure cost‑effective project execution.
  • Conduct site visits to assess progress, verify quantities, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Prepare monthly valuations, cash flow forecasts, and cost‑to‑complete reports.
  • Assist in resolving contractual and commercial disputes.
  • Ensure all cost and commercial documentation complies with company standards, policies, and client requirements.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in MEP Engineering or related field, especially has a strong knowledge and experience in Quantity Surveying.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Quantity Surveyor or Cost Engineer role within construction or infrastructure projects (data center experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, Negotiations, etc.
  • Can both speak English and Bahasa
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of MEP systems and data center‑specific infrastructure is an advantage.
