Job description

We are seeking a committed and experienced QHSE Specialist Manager to lead the implementation of our Quality, Health, Safety, Environment (QHSE) and AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) compliance programs. This role is essential for ensuring a safe, compliant, and sustainable operational environment across all business units.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and continuously improve QHSE systems aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.

Ensure ongoing compliance with AEO requirements and act as the main liaison for customs audits and assessments.

Create, review, and maintain comprehensive QHSE & AEO documentation, including SOPs, HIRADC, risk registers, audit tools, and compliance logs.

Conduct internal audits, site inspections, risk assessments, and hazard observations.

Submit required QHSE reports to relevant government agencies: Ministry of Manpower, Ministry of Environment, and the Directorate General of Customs & Excise.

Lead and facilitate in-house QHSE training sessions, including emergency drills, safety induction, and supply chain security awareness.

Deliver clear, structured presentations to internal teams, management, and external auditors.

Investigate workplace incidents and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

Monitor legal and regulatory changes to ensure company-wide compliance.

Collaborate with external certification bodies, auditors, and clients to meet and exceed QHSE expectations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

A bachelor's degree (S1) in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field, is sought after, with a preference for graduates from top-tier universities

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of proven experience in QHSE roles, preferably in logistics, warehousing, freight forwarding, or manufacturing.

Mandatory Certifications:

General OHS Expert Certificate (Ahli K3 Umum) from the Ministry of Manpower.

Experience or certification related to AEO Compliance and involvement in customs liaison/audits.

Preferred Additional Certifications:

Internal Auditor Certification: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001

Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRADC)

Security Awareness for AEO or supply chain compliance

Technical Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and document control systems.

Able to use Visio or similar diagram/chart tools for flowcharts, risk matrices, and system mapping.

Competent in conducting in-house training and developing training materials.

Effective in delivering professional presentations to various stakeholders.

Other Competencies:

Strong knowledge of Indonesian HSE and environmental laws.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Capable of working independently and in cross-functional teams.
