Job summary

PepsiCo Indonesia Foods And Beverages is seeking a QC Technician for a 6-month contract to cover maternity leave. You will conduct QC sampling, perform lab testing, and ensure production records and equipment calibration are up to standard.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s or diploma in Microbiology, Food Science, or Chemical Analysis, with at least 1 year in QC in manufacturing or food, and familiarity with safety, waste management, and documentation practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or diploma in Microbiology, Food Science, Chemical Analysis or related major.
• Minimum 1 year experience in QC department in manufacturing or food industry.
• Proficient in laboratory analytical techniques including physical, chemical, and microbiological testing.
• Familiarity with testing standards and documentation practices.
• Certificate in Calibration Training.
• Knowledge of lab equipment calibration and maintenance.
• Understanding of waste management and safety procedures in a lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the QC inspection by collecting samples online and conduct lab inspection for all related Quality parameters
• Conduct testing as per PepsiCo standard method on timely manner.
• Ensure all production records for critical quality monitoring is verified and passed.
• Ensure lab equipment and all apparatus are in good condition, calibrated, and ready to use at all times.
• Preparing chemical for the use of laboratory and also production station lab.
• Ensuring waste management for lab waste is handled accordingly and safely
• Responsible to fills in for FS technician when necessary
• Supporting trial and commissioning
• Willing to conduct any other tasks which may need support from line manager
