The QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves conducting inspections, audits, and tests, documenting quality data, implementing quality control measures, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The QA Engineer works closely with cross‑functional teams to maintain product quality, identify process improvements, and drive compliance with quality management systems.

Job Description
Quality Assurance
  • Execute quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and specifications.
  • Perform inspections, audits, and checks at various stages of the production process.
  • Verify adherence to approved procedures, work instructions, and quality control plans.
Quality Control
  • Conduct tests, measurements, and evaluations on raw materials, components, and finished products.
  • Utilise appropriate tools and equipment to perform accurate quality control assessments.
  • Document and communicate test results, deviations, and non‑conformances.
Documentation and Record Keeping
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date quality control records, including test reports, inspection findings, and quality data.
  • Assist in preparation and maintenance of quality documentation such as SOPs and work instructions.
  • Organise and archive quality records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Non‑Conformance Management
  • Identify and report non‑conformances, deviations, and quality issues.
  • Participate in investigations to determine root causes and contribute to CAPA plans.
  • Assist in implementation and tracking of CAPA activities.
Compliance Monitoring
  • Monitor adherence to QMS and quality control processes.
  • Stay updated with relevant quality standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Support internal and external audits and inspections.
Supplier Quality Management
  • Participate in supplier evaluation and qualification processes.
  • Collaborate with procurement and supplier management teams to ensure supplier quality requirements are met.
  • Conduct supplier audits and assessments as required.
Communication and Collaboration
  • Communicate quality‑related information and updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to address quality concerns and drive improvements.
  • Provide support and guidance to production teams regarding quality control procedures and requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
  • Support the development and implementation of quality‑related training programmes.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Experience in conducting inspections, tests, and measurements using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical techniques.
  • Able to converse in English (verbal and written).
  • Familiarity with MS Office suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement concepts and methodologies is desirable.
