Quality Control & Inspection
- Conduct daily inspections of civil and architectural works including structural, finishing, and external works.
- Verify materials and workmanship comply with approved specifications, standards, and drawings.
- Inspect and approve formworks, reinforcement, concreting, waterproofing, masonry, plastering, painting, flooring, and other finishing works.
- Monitor installation of architectural elements (ceilings, doors, windows, façade, partitions, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) procedures.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, checklists, and quality records.
- Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and follow up on corrective actions.
- Review and verify Material Inspection Requests (MIR) and Work Inspection Requests (WIR).
- Maintain updated records of approved materials, inspection logs, and test reports.
Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with construction, planning, and engineering teams to resolve site quality issues.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors regarding inspection schedules and approvals.
- Support QA/QC Manager in implementing the project quality plan.
Testing & Compliance
- Monitor field and laboratory testing of materials (concrete, soil, steel, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with international codes and local regulations (SNI, ACI, ASTM, BS, etc.).
- Verify corrective actions for defects and ensure re-inspection prior to acceptance.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify recurring quality issues and recommend preventive measures.
- Participate in quality audits and assist in root cause analysis for non-conformities.
- Promote a culture of quality awareness among site staff and subcontractors.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in QC Civil/Architectural works for building projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Familiarity with QA/QC documentation and inspection procedures.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD (or similar software).
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Good communication in English
