Job summary

Kredivo is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineering SDE 2 to join our Jakarta team. The role focuses on test planning, execution and continuous QA process improvements. You will partner with product, design, and engineering to ensure high-quality releases and reliable product performance.

You will also help define QA best practices and work with DevOps to validate releases, reproduce production issues, and expand test coverage across web and mobile platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in manual and automated testing of web services and mobile apps.
• Strong CS fundamentals including data structures and algorithms.
• Solid testing practices across white/black box and regression testing.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for functional/non-functional requirements.
• Experience with HTTP, Web Services, OAuth and RESTful APIs.
• Good communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with product, design and engineering teams to own test plans and execute them.
• Review PRD and design feedback to improve quality before engineering begins.
• Plan releases carefully, identify dependencies and ensure backward compatibility.
• Collaborate with DevOps on planning, execution and verification of releases.
• Replicate production bugs on staging and help troubleshoot and fix quickly.
• Define, drive and implement QA best practices and processes.

Kredivo is hiring Quality Assurance Engineering SDE 2 in the Jakarta Office. This position will report to the QA lead and will be accountable for ensuring product quality through effective test planning, execution, and continuous improvement of QA processes.

In this role you will also be responsible for ensuring product quality through effective test planning, execution, and continuous improvement of QA processes. In addition, you will be responsible for working closely with cross-functional teams to identify risks, improve test coverage, and drive faster, more reliable releases

About the job:

• Work closely with product, design and engineering teams to understand product requirements and design/execute test plans with complete ownership
• Review PRD and engineering design to share useful feedback on improvements before engineering execution cycle
• Carefully plan out release process including identifying inter-dependencies and backward compatibility
• Work closely with dev operations team in planning, executing and verifying product releases and measuring impact
• Replicate bugs reported in production on staging environment and help troubleshoot and fix with urgency
• Help define, drive and implement QA best practices and process

About you:

• 3+ years in manual and automated testing of web services and mobile applications
• Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Computer Science fundamentals
• Strong understanding of testing best practices across white box, black box and regression testing
• Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills to test product quality for functional/non-functional requirements
• Excellent with MySQL
• Intermediate level experience writing automation suites in any language of choice
• Good understanding of HTTP, Web Services, OAuth and Restful APIs
• Experience working with CI tools like Jenkins
• Experience working with Git
• Good communication skills and strong attention to details
• Ability to work well in a team with humility, passion and self-motivation
• Ability to execute and understand Jenkins automation scripts
