Job description

Our client, a manufacturer of aluminum packaging, is looking for a Quality Control Supervisor who will lead and support the quality control team to ensure that all products and processes meet established standards and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate quality control staff, provide training, and support their effectiveness.
• Develop and implement quality procedures, standards, and protocols.
• Inspect and test raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products for compliance.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and suggest process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards (ISO 9001).
• Handle customer complaints, investigate issues, and apply corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and support quality documentation.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other teams to solve quality problems.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, quality management, or a science-related discipline.
• Proven experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, often in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Mandarin is an advantage.
• Experience with quality management systems and internal audit.
• Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and solve problems effectively.
• Capacity to lead, motivate, and develop a team of quality staff.
• A meticulous approach to monitoring processes, inspecting products, and reviewing documentation.
• Familiarity with testing equipment and procedures relevant to the industry.
• Knowledge of QMS ISO Integrated standards (9001, 14001 & 45001).
