The Purchasing Manager is responsible for sourcing raw materials, components, and services at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards and ensuring timely delivery. This role plays a strategic part in supplier management and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with production schedules and business goals.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers locally and internationally.
• Manage contracts, purchase orders, and supplier relationships.
• Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with quality control, logistics, and finance teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of procurement experience in manufacturing, preferably valves or industrial components.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
• Knowledge of international trade regulations and import/export processes is a plus.
• Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office.
