About the role

The Mental Health Project Officer works within a multidisciplinary team to facilitate the provision of high‑quality mental health services in Sonder’s Mental Health portfolio. This position is principally responsible for data and performance monitoring, as well as advancing continuous quality improvement initiatives. Additionally, the role provides executive support to leadership meetings in the Mental Health portfolio.

Experience Requirements
  • Experience working in a health care service, preferably mental health.
  • Experience in using, and preferably providing training for, systems, BI Reports and SharePoint.
  • Experience in data collection, monitoring and performance reporting.
  • Experience in collaborating effectively with others to undertake quality improvement activities.
  • Experience in communicating professionally in written and oral formats.
  • Experience in providing administrative support for meetings.
  • Experience in working independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in effectively managing multiple demands.
Qualifications and Other Requirements
  • Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • Current or willing to obtain a National Police Check (NPC).
  • Tertiary level qualifications relating to public health, physical health, or mental health are required. Other tertiary level qualifications may be considered where a strong understanding of mental health services can be demonstrated.
