• Master's degree or certified courses in business administration, project management, or product development (preferred).
• Strong technical acumen with robust business savviness to translate complex constraints into commercial realities.
• Ability to operate with high independence and drive strategic work plans.

Responsibilities

• Bridge global strategy with regional/origin operational execution across SEA Cocoa.
• Govern, track, and accelerate cross-functional programs to secure cocoa supply chain and innovation.
• Drive portfolio prioritization and allocate resources efficiently to deliver targets.
• Define governance framework aligned with Mars processes and ensure compliance.
• Design dashboards and reports on project health, compliance, and output metrics for key stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional leaders and drive timely execution and issue escalation.

Job description

The strategic driver of Mars Cocoa Enterprise (MCE) initiatives and portfolio management across South East Asia (SEA). This role will bridge global strategy with regional/origin operational execution, partnering directly with the both Mars Cocoa Enterprise and Mars Cocoa Indonesia Leadership Teams (LT) to govern, track, and accelerate cross-functional and transversal programs that secure our cocoa supply chain and innovation.

Key responsibilities

Serve as the bridge between strategic ambition and tactical execution for the South East Asia Cocoa region, driving execution at pace, deployment and impact across People, Planet and Performance dimensions

Ensure effective execution of the South East Asia Cocoa Portfolio and Transversal Programs across Sustainable Sourcing (SuSo), Supply, Commercial, R&D, and Plant Science

Conduct data driven portfolio prioritization to ensure most efficient allocation of resources to deliver MCE targets

Define and implement an operational framework for governance and execution grounded on current Mars Business Processes (e.g., TRL, QES, MCE strategy & execution, etc)

Drive the regional program review cadence and gatekeeping process

Enforce the Mars Signature Process to guarantee rigorous operational and regulatory compliance

Partner directly with the Leadership Team to translate MCE strategic goals into trackable milestones, providing critical data-driven progress visibility and decision-making support

Design and deliver performance dashboards and reports on project health, compliance and output metrics (on time delivery within allocated resources) for Mars SEA Cocoa LT, MCE LT and key stakeholders

Coordinate across all functional Leaders, aligning and driving cross-functional teams to execution and task completion

Act as an early-warning system to detect weak operational signals, anticipate risks and opportunities, and elevate critical issues timely

About you

Bachelor's degree in food science, Engineering, life sciences or equivalent

Proven experience in program management and transformational enterprise wide initiatives

Master's degree or certified courses in business administration, project management, or product development (preferred)

Strong technical acumen with robust business savvy to translate complex technical constraints into commercial and strategic realities

Ability to operate with high standing-alone independence, proactively proposing strategic work plans and driving problem-solving

Capability to influence without direct line management authority across functional Leaders
