Job summary

PT. Pillar Karya Kreasi is seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor in Denpasar, Bali. This full-time role focuses on cost estimation, procurement support, and financial management across civil and structural projects.

You will prepare bills of quantities, review tenders, monitor budgets, and support contract administration to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related construction/engineering discipline.
• Fresh Graduate are welcome.
• Strong proficiency in cost estimation software, spreadsheet applications, and project management tools.
• In-depth knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and procurement practices in Indonesia.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to prepare accurate bills of quantities and tender documents.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Professional certification as a Quantity Surveyor (QS) or equivalent is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software is advantageous.
• Experience working on projects in the Bali region or similar tropical climate environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation for civil and structural engineering projects.
• Conduct site inspections and measurements to ensure accuracy of project specifications and scope.
• Analyse tender submissions from suppliers and contractors, providing recommendations on value for money.
• Monitor project budgets and track expenditure, preparing regular cost reports and variance analyses.
• Manage valuations and payment certifications for contractors throughout project execution.
• Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers, contractors, and sub-contractors to achieve optimal costs.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions without compromising project quality.
• Maintain accurate project records, documentation, and maintain up-to-date cost databases.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment on budgetary and commercial matters.
• Prepare final accounts and reconciliation of project costs upon project completion.

About the role

PT. Pillar Karya Kreasi is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our growing engineering team in Denpasar, Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in managing project costs, budgets, and resources across our civil and structural engineering projects. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimation, procurement support, and financial management throughout all project phases. This role is essential to ensuring our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
