Job summary

A leading European integrated power solutions manufacturer is seeking a Project Manager to oversee project implementation in power systems. The ideal candidate will have a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, at least 5 years of experience in a technical project environment, and strong problem-solving skills. This position mostly works remotely with occasional site visits required.

The Client

Datacenter People is partnering with a leading European integrated power solutions manufacturer, a brand independent supplier of power systems for mission critical sectors including data center.

What The Job Involves

• Developing a clear and well-thought-out plan of approach from the sales file, including work instructions and test plans, to guide stakeholders.
• Thinking ahead and taking into account the necessary resources and scheduling to successfully complete the project.
• Reviewing electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings, as well as specifying technical requests within emergency power installations.
• Working closely with procurement, engineering, and the commissioning team to ensure perfect coordination.
• Maintaining sharp insight into the interfaces between departments and ensuring smooth collaboration to meet all requirements and quality standards.
• Organizing projects efficiently, addressing problems directly, and quickly providing effective solutions.
• Thinking in terms of systems and structure comes naturally to you, and you combine this with the motivation to achieve results and lead teams to success.
• Occasionally visiting project sites in the Netherlands and abroad for assessment and coordination, but mostly working remotely.

We Are Looking For Someone With

• Higher professional education (HBO) level with a completed degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience within a technical project organization.
• Proactive attitude and ability to solve technical problems independently.
• Decisive and results-oriented.
• Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Curiosity and a sense of responsibility in your work.
