A leading marine industry company in Jakarta is looking for a Project Coordinator to facilitate communication and coordination between international and local teams. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 3-5 years of project coordination experience, and must be fluent in Mandarin. Bachelor degree from engineering or related field
Have 3-5 years of experience in project coordination and administration, preferable have experience in industrial project
Must FLUENT in Mandarin (spoken and written)
Have multitasking abilities, attention to detail, problem solving and strong organizational
Able to work effectively with international (Chinese people) and local teams
Trustworthy in handling sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality
Willingness based in Jakarta, and travel required as needed
Job Description:
Act as a liaison to ensure clear, timely and culturally appropriate communication between international and local stakes holders
Prepare reports, MoM, presentations, and corres ponde in English (Bahasa and Mandarin if needed) and handle sensitive communications and documents with discretion, applying company data protection protocols all times
Serve as central coordination between project team, contractors, consultants, vendors and local authorities
Organize and support project meeting, site visits, and stakeholder engagements
Track against timelines, proactively flagging risks or delays and recommending mitigations
Coordinate logistics for expatriate and local staff (travel, accommodation, permits, etc) in accordance with relevant regulations and company policies
Facilitate document translation and interpretation during meetings, negotiations and technical discussions
Coordinate with Indonesian government agencies, industrial park authorities, and local communities on project related matters
Ensure technical submissions align with project specifications and regulatory requirements

A shipyard in Marunda was soon acquired with its initial focus on wooden fishing vessels.
KTU evolved and built another shipyard at Sagulung in 1990 and Sekupang in 1992. The rapid growth is primarily due to the strong demand and trust in KTU products and service. Both shipyards are supported by various operational facilities, skilled workforce and extensive constructional sites up to international standards.
