About the Program
The Sekolah Sahabat Indonesia-Australia Program (SSIAP) is a cross-cultural education initiative that connects Indonesian and Australian schools. It promotes global engagement through collaborative student projects, language and cultural exchanges, and professional development for educators. SSIAP fosters meaningful partnerships through joint activities, immersive homestays, and blended learning approaches that support intercultural understanding and 21st-century skills..
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Coordinator/Lead to oversee the planning, coordination, and expansion of the SSIAP. This role is key in managing relationships with Australian partners, promoting the program nationwide, and ensuring smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the planning, coordination, and implementation of all initiatives within the SSIAP framework
Liaise with Austrade, Australian school partners, and Indonesian local education authorities (Dinas Pendidikan)
Promote the SSIAP across schools and government networks
Supervise and guide the SSIAP team in daily operations
Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and reporting
Represent the program at national and international education forums
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in English Education or a related field (Australian university graduate preferred)
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in education or project coordination
CEFR C1 English proficiency or equivalent (IELTS 6.5+)
Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
Experience with the Cambridge curriculum is highly preferred
International teaching certifications (e.g., CELTA, DELTA, TESOL) are optional but advantageous
Proven ability to manage diverse teams and work across institutions
Willingness and availability to travel on duty, both nationally and internationally
