Job description

We are seeking qualified ARCHITECTS with at least 3-5 years of practical experience who also happens to love INTERIOR DESIGN or have any experience in Interior Design.

We are also open to candidates with 1-3 years of experience, provided they demonstrate a compellingly high level of practical experience beyond their years of employment.

Equipped with 3-5 years / 1-3 years of experience in Design Concept & Schematic Design (SD), but also willing to assist in Design Development / Construction Drawings (DDCD) if need be.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure projects adhere to the approved design brief & initial concept.
2. Run on schedule.
3. Are executed with agreed resource allocation.
4. Are executed with attention to details.
5. Are presented and/or submitted as per standard.
6. Solve design problems and issues that occur in project phases.
7. Deliver completed projects successfully, which includes:
   • Achieves a high level of client satisfaction.
   • Complies fully with the design brief & agreed concept.
   • Possible to achieve a high level of recognition: be it through awards / media / social coverage.
8. Able to handle a certain number of projects.

To Also Be Able To

• Produce project schedule and monitor progress (checking submissions, etc.)
• Make adjustments to solve issues while still maintaining project success.
• Supervise, lead, manage & mentor juniors in time.
• Coordinate with Technical / DDCD Team(s) to ensure the submission package aligns with the approved design intent.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and associates when necessary.
• Assist communication (answering queries) from clients, contractors, or other parties.
• Make observation reports & maintain communications with the Project Manager.

• ~90% proficiency in English language (comfortable using English as a means of communication when necessary).
• Proactive with good initiative (sharing new ideas, assisting teammates, seeking/giving advice, etc.).
• Value of time (be it on submission or progress updates).
• Capable to learn & adapt to new things.
• Strong sense of leadership, ownership, and accountability.
• Able to work remotely while maintaining good communication and spirit.

Note: Only qualified Architects who are interested in Interior Design may apply.

Familiar with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and d5 Render preferred.

• Will be a plus if knowledgeable regarding materials & finishes, design details, QC.
• Will also be a plus if you have experience in managing/supervising complex projects until construction process.
