Job description
Job Title – Production Operator
Location – Karawang, Indonesia

This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is based at Firmenich Aromatics Indonesia, Karawang Plant. The role is responsible for coordinating production activities while ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, and Food Safety standards, including GMP. Key tasks include operating and monitoring equipment, recording production data, performing in-process analysis with QC, and maintaining good housekeeping through implementation of 5S. The role also supports continuous improvement by recommending procedural enhancements and ensuring alignment with local food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, and Food Safety policies, including GMP.
  • Operate and monitor production equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Record production data and perform in-process analysis with QC Analysts.
  • Maintain good housekeeping through 5S implementation and follow applicable procedures.
  • Report operational issues to Supervisors or Managers and suggest improvements.
  • Support food safety regulation compliance, including local claims and regulatory knowledge.
