Job Role

The Production Manager will lead daily production operations while ensuring operational excellence, people development, and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced, multinational manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this role is responsible for driving productivity, efficiency, and safety across the production floor. This position involves managing multi‑shift teams, allocating resources effectively, and collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders to achieve production, cost, quality, and compliance targets. Success requires strong technical expertise combined with the ability to lead, influence, and align teams with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build, develop, and lead a high‑performing production team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure operational excellence across multi‑shift production: safety, quality, on‑time delivery, and cost‑effectiveness.
  • Set performance KPIs, monitor progress, and optimize workflow with planning, quality, and supply chain teams.
  • Drive process improvements using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and efficiency frameworks; implement automation and standardization to improve productivity and reduce waste.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for production machinery.
  • Enforce health, safety, and compliance standards across all production activities.
  • Provide strategic reporting and operational analysis to senior management for long‑term planning and improvements.
Candidate Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering fields.
  • Experience: 7–10 years in manufacturing, including at least 5 years in production leadership roles in multinational or complex manufacturing environments.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with labels, packaging, adhesives, garment, or apparel manufacturing.
  • Technical Skills: Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Flow, TPM, OEE, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement frameworks; ability to link operational performance to financial outcomes.
  • Leadership & Management: Proven ability to lead large‑scale production teams, drive cultural change, and influence both shop‑floor operators and senior management.
  • Operational Excellence: Demonstrated success in delivering OEE, yield, lead time, cost efficiency, and strategic improvements like lean transformation, automation, and capability building.
  • Languages: Professional proficiency in English for communication with regional/global teams and leadership.
  • Personal Qualities: Strategic mindset with hands‑on leadership, strong interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills; proactive, resilient, and results‑oriented.
