We are a Design - Manufacturing management company based in Bandung, catering our sole international client UDGGEAR (www.udggear.com). The brand provides premium bags, cases, and accessories for DJs, producers, and musicians. We seek self‑motivated individuals to fill the following positions:

Position

Production Manager

Responsibilities

Coordinate research, development, design, production scheduling, staffing, equipment, quality control, inventory control, and the coordination of production activities with those of other departments including process changes.

Ensure implementation and operation of the system for the effectiveness of the Company.

Establish production standards and workflow with personnel to resolve problems related to manufacturing process, tooling, equipment, operation, etc.

Ensure the vendors establish and implement line operational procedures and compliance with established product standards, corporate requirements, and procedures.

Drive continuous improvement by implementing up‑to‑date methods to achieve the overall production goals.

Maintain inventories at optimal levels and accurately determining the inventory level is necessary to sustain production.

Work closely with other departments such as sales, purchasing, and traffic to plan and implement company goals, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related degree from a reputable university.

Minimum ten (10) years’ experience in luggage manufacturing and experience with foreign company set‑up.

Knowledge and skill in planning, operations, methods, and tooling.

Excellent ability to identify issues, anticipate problems, and implement solutions.

Familiar with at least one of the following drawing software programs: CAD, AI.

Excellent command of English and Chinese (Mandarin), both spoken and written.

Working location in Bandung and frequent visits to Mainland China.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Efficient communication, strong leadership, problem‑solving, and decision‑making ability.

The ability to plan, coordinate, and execute production activities within budget and on time is critical.

Proficiency in using project management software, understanding Gantt charts, and managing resources to meet deadlines.

Process improvement, Lean manufacturing, scheduling, MS Office, customer service, troubleshooting, and project management.

Negotiation skills with suppliers.

Strong analytical skill.

Adaptability and flexibility.

Knowledge of manufacturing production and processes.

Problem‑solving and understanding consumer desires or satisfaction as a goal and how to realize it through good and great products.
