Report to Superintendent PRODUCT TECHNICAL (SALES & MARKETING)

Specialist Product Technical (Sales & Marketing) is responsible to provide technical support for the sales and marketing of refined metals (copper, gold, silver) and sulphuric acid and other by‑products, ensuring that product specifications meet customer requirements. The Specialist supports the supervisor in managing technical aspects of the product, assists with customer inquiries, and ensures alignment between product offerings and market needs.

Purpose

To provide technical expertise and support for refined metals (copper, gold, silver) and sulphuric acid products and other by‑products, ensuring product quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

To assist in technical training, documentation, and gathering market feedback, enabling the sales and marketing teams to effectively meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.

Provide day‑to‑day technical support to the sales and marketing teams regarding technical nature of refined metals (copper, gold, silver) and sulphuric acid products.

Assist in preparing technical documentation and presentations for customer engagements.

Help respond to customer inquiries about product specifications, quality, and performance.

Assist the supervisor in addressing technical issues raised by customers and providing solutions in coordination with internal teams.

Support the supervisor in monitoring the quality of refined metals (copper, gold, silver) and sulphuric acid and other by‑products to ensure they meet the required standards.

Collaborate with the production and quality assurance teams to address any product quality concerns.

Prepare and maintain technical product documentation, including specifications, safety data sheets, and compliance certificates.

Assist in compiling reports on product performance, quality issues, and customer feedback for the supervisor.

Support the supervisor in delivering technical training to the sales and marketing teams to enhance their product knowledge.

Assist in developing training materials and ensuring the sales team is up to date on product specifications and innovations.

Assist in gathering customer feedback and market data to help improve products or develop new offerings.

Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify potential areas for product improvement based on customer needs.

Ensure that all product technical specifications comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Support the preparation of documentation needed for regulatory approvals and certifications.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

At least bachelor’s graduate, College/University Degree (Preferably in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related courses)

A strong background in technology, including product development, testing, certification, and maintenance. Typically, at least three years of experience in these areas.

Base Metal/Copper handling experience, Commercial Lab Coordination, Computer and some LIMS, SAP, Metal balance software, Shipment technical handling experience.

Good communication skills both in Indonesian and English.

Analytical & problem‑solving skill.

Keep accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints, including details of actions taken.

Collaborate with the product development team to communicate customer feedback, identify recurring issues, and contribute to ongoing product improvements.

Able to communicate effectively with people as well as with other departments to exchange information/data on existing issues that may affect the production process.

Strong organizational skills, especially those related to scheduling, organizing the workload, and prioritizing activities.

Ability to work independently as well as cooperate with other departments if needed.

Capable of handling complex, detailed and multiple tasks simultaneously to accomplish all the tasks efficiently.
