Job Description
  • Product Backlog Management: Own, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog. Clearly articulate user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature requirements for the development team.
  • Vendor & Developer Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for our outsourced development partners. Ensure they have a clear understanding of requirements, and effectively manage timelines, sprints, and deliverables.
  • Feature Development & Roadmap: Collaborate with internal stakeholders (marketing, sales, operations) to define the product roadmap. Translate business needs into actionable development tasks to drive growth and improve user experience.
  • Bug Fixes & Maintenance: Proactively identify, triage, and prioritize bugs and technical issues. Work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution and maintain a stable, high-performing website.
  • Agile/Scrum Leadership: Champion Agile methodologies, leading key ceremonies like sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews to ensure an efficient and transparent development process.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Oversee the user acceptance testing (UAT) process for all new features and fixes to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards before deployment.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define and analyze key metrics to measure the success of new features and the overall health of the e-commerce site, using data to inform future priorities.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Have an experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or a similar role in a software development environment.
  • Proven experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and managing a product backlog.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with external vendors or outsourced development teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Big Plus / Highly Desirable
  • Hands-on, full-stack development experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce, or custom builds). A deep understanding of the e-commerce technology stack (front-end, back-end, APIs, databases) is a significant advantage.
  • Experience in the e-commerce industry, with a solid understanding of online retail operations, user experience (UX), and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
