The Product Owner will lead the design, development, optimization, and lifecycle management of fraud detection system capabilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and minimizing financial and operational risks across all payment channels, including E-Money and Transfer Services.
Job Responsibility
- Own and drive the end-to-end development of the Fraud Detection System
- Act as the primary decision‑maker for product backlog priorities
- Ensure features meet business, operational, and compliance needs
- Conduct product discovery, research, and competitor analysis
- Collaborate with tech teams during design, development, and testing
- Track KPIs such as fraud loss rate, false positive rate, detection accuracy
- Lead cross-functional working groups for fraud strategy alignment
- Align fraud system performance with AML/CTF regulations
- Align fraud system performance with chargeback and dispute handling processes
- Balancing Security, Experience, and Cost: Optimize the fraud detection system to minimize financial losses without creating excessive friction for legitimate customers or incurring unsustainable operational costs from manual reviews
- Operating Under Stringent Regulation: Ensure all system changes and strategies strictly comply with complex, multi‑jurisdictional regulatory frameworks (AML/CTF, data privacy) while maintaining system agility
- Translating Complex Data into Action: Make high‑stakes prioritization decisions based on analysis of large, sometimes ambiguous, datasets to predict and prevent future fraud patterns effectively
Technical Competency
