About the role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join the team at PT Indomarco Adi Prima (Indofood Group), a distribution company. As a Procurement Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and cost‑effective procurement of goods and services for the organisation. This is a full‑time position based in the heart of Jakarta.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing procurement strategies to support the overall business objectives
• Managing the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and securing the best possible terms and conditions for the company
• Monitoring and analysing market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to understand their procurement needs and deliver effective solutions
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies governing procurement activities
• Reporting on procurement performance and providing recommendations for continuous improvement
• Supervising and mentoring the procurement team to enhance their skills and effectiveness

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a procurement or supply chain management role, preferably within the manufacturing, transportation, or logistics industry
• Proven track record in developing and implementing successful procurement strategies
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to secure favourable terms and conditions
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify and address process inefficiencies
• Proficient in the use of procurement software and data analysis tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Knowledgeable in relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices governing procurement activities
