A leading insurance company in Jakarta is looking for a Procurement Leader to manage sourcing strategies and vendor relationships while ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate has 5-10 years of experience in procurement, strong leadership abilities, and is fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia. This role requires strategic thinking and excellent stakeholder management skills to align procurement goals with business objectives.
Act as a leader within the Procurement organization, fostering a positive attitude and inspiring the team through commitment, passion, and integrity.
Develop the team's technical and non‑technical skill sets professionally; listen to aspirations and provide growth opportunities through structured development plans.
Maintain high ethical standards and ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Undertake special projects and assignments as directed by the direct supervisor.
Lead the procurement strategy for the assigned commodities including IT, corporate & professional services commodities, aligning with the related department's roadmap and business objectives.
Manage the Procurement team in executing end‑to‑end sourcing activities including tendering, evaluation, vendor selection, and performance monitoring.
Maintain team commitment to delivering optimized procurement solutions and sustainable savings for the company.
Control and monitor procurement operations to ensure efficiency, transparency, and compliance.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities that enhance productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness in third‑party engagements.
Provide accurate reporting and analysis of expenses against allocated budgets for both BAU and project‑based purchases.
Oversee third‑party agreements and maintain a competitive and high‑performing vendor base.
Identify new potential suppliers, consolidate contracts for better commercial outcomes, and develop long‑term vendor relationships.
Ensure the quality of goods and services meet established standards and business requirements.
Act as a subject matter expert to stakeholders and share procurement expertise across the team.
Partner with business owners to review cost allocations and identify savings opportunities.
Build strong relationships with cross‑functional and regional teams to support business needs and strategic goals.
