Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Jakarta to lead structural modelling, detailing, and drawing production for bridges, foundations, and major civil infrastructure.

You will coordinate deliverables across multidisciplinary teams, translate calculations into buildable solutions, review models and drawings, and mentor designers and drafters to ensure design quality and consistency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 15+ years of experience in structural design, detailing, and design delivery for bridges, foundations, or major civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, structural steel, piling, shallow and deep foundations, and structural detailing.
• Advanced proficiency in structural modelling and drafting software.
• Proven experience leading design teams and coordinating multidisciplinary project deliverables.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across engineering and design functions.

• Lead structural modelling, detailing, and drawing production for bridges, foundations, retaining structures, and associated civil infrastructure.
• Coordinate structural design deliverables across multidisciplinary teams, including civil, geotechnical, BIM, and construction stakeholders.
• Translate engineering calculations, design criteria, and geotechnical inputs into practical and buildable structural solutions.
• Review and approve structural models and drawings to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with project standards.
• Manage design interfaces, resolve technical issues, and support staged project submissions.
• Contribute to constructability reviews, quantity take-offs, safety-in-design activities, and material scheduling.
• Mentor and guide designers and drafters, promoting best practices and consistency across project teams.
