THE SCHOOL

For more than fifty years, the Nord Anglia School Jakarta has offered a high quality international education to children aged from 1.5 to 12 years on an attractive, green campus located in a quiet residential district of South Jakarta (Kemang – Ampera Raya) in Indonesia. The school was for most of its time a Dutch school for expat Dutch families living in Jakarta before it joined Nord Anglia Education in 2017. The school is now made up of 30 nationalities and is known for its warm, inclusive community and highly personalised approach to learning. With small class sizes, outstanding teachers, and a strong focus on individual growth, the school nurtures curiosity, confidence, and a genuine love of learning in every child.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking an ambitious and entrepreneurial school leader to guide NAS Jakarta through a pivotal stage in its development. Building on the school's strong reputation in Early Years and Primary education, the successful candidate will lead the strategic expansion into early secondary provision, creating a seamless and outstanding educational experience for students. Combining strong educational leadership with commercial awareness, you will be skilled in driving school improvement, enrolment growth, staff development, and community engagement. You will inspire confidence among students, parents, and colleagues alike, while ensuring the school continues to deliver exceptional outcomes and strengthens its position as a leading international school in Jakarta. As part of Nord Anglia Education, you will work collaboratively across the global network, contributing to and benefiting from the expertise of one of the world's foremost international schools organisations. This role would suit an ambitious Primary Head looking for their first Principal role coming from either UK or international experience.
