Job description

As President Director, you will lead the company's Indonesian subsidiary in Jakarta in all areas of operations, strategic growth, risk-management, and alignment with the headquarter's overall vision and misison.

Key Responsibilities

Identify new market opportunities (SME financing, export-import factoring, equipment leasing, etc.) and build partnerships or alliances to capture them.

Drive growth in business revenue, financing portfolio, profitability, and market share.

Oversee financial performance of the company: budgeting, forecasting, cost management, capital allocation, NPL ratio, provisioning coverage, ROA, ROE, cost/income ratio, profitability.

Ensure corporate governance, regulatory compliance (including supervision by Otoritas Jasa Keuangan – OJK), and risk management frameworks are in place and adhered to.

Foster a performance-oriented culture, promote the company’s values, and champion ethical behaviour and accountability across the organisation.

Build and maintain strong relationships with major clients, strategic partners, regulators, and stakeholders; represent the company externally in business forums.

Ensure operational excellence and business viability but adopting appropriate technology/tools to fasten business growth while maintaining service quality and compliance.

Build leadership bench strength by attracting, developing and retaining top talents through sustainable means.

Prequisities

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field.

Extensive senior leadership experience in financial services (financing, factoring, leasing) in Indonesia, ideally 15-20+ years, with track record of P&L responsibility and business growth.

Strong understanding of the Indonesian SME financing market, regulatory environment (including OJK supervision), risk management practices, credit underwriting, portfolio management.

Proven ability to lead, motivate, and scale teams; demonstrated strategic thinking, change management, and transformation capabilities.

Excellent stakeholder management skills: ability to engage with regulators, board of commissioners, clients, partners and senior group leadership.

Strong financial acumen, analytical mindset, ability to interpret complex data and drive performance through metrics.

Excellent communication skills (both Bahasa Indonesia and English) – able to present to senior management, board and external stakeholders.
