Job summary

Japfa is seeking a warehouse operator to perform and support daily warehouse operations in Medan, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.

You will operate material handling equipment and warehouse systems, ensuring inventory accuracy through proper handling, labelling and stock movements while upholding SOPs, safety, quality and housekeeping standards. This role also involves stock counts, discrepancy investigations and reporting issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Perform and support daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch
• Operate material handling equipment and warehouse systems (WMS) safely and accurately
• Ensure inventory accuracy through proper handling, labelling, and stock movements
• Support compliance with warehouse SOPs, safety, quality, and housekeeping standards
• Assist in stock counts, cycle counts, and discrepancy investigations
• Support workflow coordination and guide junior operators where required
• Report operational issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly
• Contribute to productivity improvement and continuous improvement initiatives
