Job summary

JAPFA invites applications for a role focused on performing and leading daily Grand Parent Stock farm activities in line with SOPs and work instructions. The incumbent will monitor flock condition, feeding, egg collection, mortality, and hygiene to ensure smooth daily operations.

You will support supervisors, provide on‑the‑job guidance to operators and junior staff, and report any abnormalities in health or equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead daily Grand Parent Stock farm activities in accordance with SOPs and work instructions.
• Monitor flock condition and operational parameters, including feeding, egg collection, mortality, and hygiene.
• Support supervisors in ensuring biosecurity, animal welfare, safety, and hygiene standards are followed.
• Provide on-the-job guidance and support to operators and junior staff.
• Identify and report abnormalities in flock health, equipment, or operations.
• Ensure accurate recording of daily production and operational data.
• Support implementation of improvement actions and best practices at farm level.
