Overview

About the role — As a PLC Engineer at PT Sriboga Flour Mill, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising the company's automated systems. This full-time position is based in Semarang, Central Java.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

• Designing, programming, and troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to ensure the efficient operation of the company's production equipment and processes
• Developing and implementing PLC software, including creating custom applications and integrating them with other systems
• Performing regular maintenance, testing, and calibration of PLC systems to identify and resolve issues or malfunctions
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements to the company's automation systems
• Staying up-to-date with the latest PLC technologies, programming techniques, and industry best practices

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a PLC Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in programming and configuring various PLC brands, such as Siemens, Rockwell Automation, or Schneider Electric
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues
• Excellent understanding of industrial automation systems, including sensors, motors, and other related components
• Familiarity with SCADA systems, HMI, and industrial communication protocols
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and make informed decisions
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Willing to be placed in Semarang, Central Java
