Job description

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Plastics Engineering.

Diploma in Tool & Die Design or Plastic Technology may be accepted with strong experience.

Injection molding certifications (e.g., RJG Master Molder, Paulson Training) are an advantage.

3–5 years of experience in tooling design, injection mold development, and mold validation.

Proficient in CAD software – CATIA, Siemens NX, SolidWorks.

Knowledge of DFM, Moldflow analysis, injection molding machines, and tooling materials.

Familiar with FMEA, control plans, SPC, and tolerance analysis.

Understanding of injection molding processes, mold standards, and tool manufacturing.

Experience in cost estimation, RFQs, and supplier evaluation.

Knowledge of lean systems (e.g., VPS, TPM) and support for SOPs in global projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design and validate plastic parts, molds, and processes following DFM principles and company standards.

Support new product launches from concept to production – including mold design, trials, and process setup.

Lead tooling design approvals (RAISE), mold tuning, and technical evaluations.

Analyze Moldflow results and implement performance improvements.

Drive continuous improvement in tooling and processes to enhance quality and reduce cost.

Collaborate with global teams to define standards and support tooling transfers and SOP activities.
