Charterhouse Partnership is seeking a Plant Manager for Indonesia to lead smart factory initiatives and manufacturing excellence across our client's Indonesian operations. You will drive optimization of equipment, processes, and resources to meet evolving production demands, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Collaborating with Asia and global leaders, you will align demand forecasting, supply balance, and inventory management, implementing replenishment planning and Lean Six Sigma

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree with 10–15 years in manufacturing or international supply chain.
• Experience in complex, high-volume chemicals manufacturing.
• Proven DG cargo handling experience.

The company has a significant presence in Asia in terms of its reputable market position in developing best-in-class manufacturing and operations management capabilities and takes pride in ensuring optimized regional activities to achieve maximized customer satisfaction.

They are currently on an active look out for a suitable candidate as a Plant Manager (Indonesia), who is the critical point of contact in terms of ensuring smooth designing and implementation of improvised smart factory best practices for manufacturing plants based in Indonesia and beyond.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain & Operations Head based in Indonesia, and this position will be focusing on the below:

• Subject matter expert to spearhead the strategic manufacturing re-engineering initiatives, to make happen successful optimization of utilization of equipment, systems, and resources to meet changing production demands.
• Deep dive into critical production pain points and actively look into continuous process improvements to drive Operations Excellence for Indonesia manufacturing activities and beyond.
• Actively collaborate with Asia/ Global cross-functional Leaders in Product Management, Engineering, Quality and Procurement to ensure optimal demand forecast and supply balance management, including that of managing inventory and safety stock levels within Asia by means of introducing effective replenishment planning processes etc.
• Strategize and develop improved processes by means of conducting strategic Root Cause Analysis by means of introducing Lean Six Sigma methodologies etc. to reduce incidents of Production Wastage etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 10 - 15 years of relevant experience in end-to-end Manufacturing or related International Supply Chain/ Business Management experiences in a complex and high volume Chemicals Manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record in acquired solution-oriented mind set to deal with complex and matrix organizational framework, including that of managing Dangerous Goods (DG Cargo).
• Excellent hand-on experience and knowledge in driving Manufacturing Excellence.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to relay and/or drive process improvements across a global organization to regional/ global stakeholders involved.
• Good understanding of SAP and equivalent ERP system is highly preferred
