About Our Client

The client is a leading building material manufacturer.

Job Description

  • Lead and manage all plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, logistics, and health & safety.
  • Ensure the plant operates at optimal efficiency while meeting or exceeding production targets and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies, KPIs, and cost control measures aligned with business goals.
  • Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve throughput, and enhance product quality.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset life.
  • Manage plant budgets, resource allocation, and inventory control effectively.
  • Develop and mentor plant staff; build a high-performance team with a focus on accountability and engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments (e.g., supply chain, R&D, sales, HR) to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead or support capital projects including new equipment installations, expansions, or upgrades.


The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (Master's is a plus).
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role (preferably in building materials).
  • Background in building materials, paint or ceramic industry.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, production planning, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM).
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in manufacturing ERP systems and MS Office tools.
  • Familiarity with environmental, health & safety (EHS) compliance in an industrial setting.
