A vehicle maintenance company in Balikpapan is seeking a Planner/Coordinator for LV 4x4 vehicle maintenance. The ideal candidate will develop and manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, monitor spare parts consumption, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Applicants must hold a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field and have 3-5 years of relevant experience. Develop and manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for LV 4x4 vehicles to prevent downtime.
Ensure vehicles remain in optimal condition and comply with safety standards.
Prepare and maintain periodic maintenance reports.
Monitor spare parts consumption and optimize inventory to reduce operational costs.
Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure the availability of spare parts and maintenance tools.
Implement measures to accurately track unit operations and associated revenue through comprehensive timesheet management.
Ensure timely and precise reporting of unit operations to facilitate accurate billing processing and project costing.
Estimate operational job costs based on labor, parts, and equipment usage to provide a comprehensive financial overview.
Review and analyze cost estimations to identify opportunities for cost savings, ensuring accurate reporting of maintenance costs for informed decision-making.
Communicate with technicians and mechanics to ensure maintenance schedules are executed as planned.
Work with the operations team to minimize operational disruptions caused by vehicle maintenance.
Evaluate vehicle condition based on usage data and maintenance history.
Identify areas for improvement to enhance vehicle efficiency and durability.
Provide strategic recommendations to management.
Ensure all maintenance procedures comply with company safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct inspections and verify mechanics' work before vehicles are returned to operation.
Education: Minimum Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Transportation Management, or a related field.
Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience as a Planner/Coordinator in light vehicle maintenance, particularly LV 4x4.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of LV 4x4 mechanical & electrical systems.
Ability to analyze vehicle maintenance data and reports.
Knowledge of vehicle safety standards and regulatory compliance
