Job description

The opportunity

Due to ongoing growth, we are looking for a Piping Engineer (Piping Stress) to join our Industrial team in Jakarta, Indonesia. This role is fixed term basis for 12 months with opportunity to be extended. On this role, you must have sufficiently experienced with piping design, have an understanding of piping materials and be able to conduct piping system design, calculations and analysis, you’ll have the opportunity to create and design mechanical system, you will also have opportunity to provide solution or troubleshooting for piping aspect at project.

About you

• A bachelor's degree with relevant education background, preferably from metallurgy/ material / mechanical engineering background
• Having within 5-10 years of experience in a similar role as Piping Engineer, preferably from an engineering consulting company.
• Preferable candidate with previous experience in Piping design or piping stress.
• Knowledge of Code and Standards, such as ASME, ASTM, API, NFPA, DIN, etc.
• Hands on experience stress analysis software, Auto Pipe or Caesar II software.
• Good level of English skills for both written and conversation, able to communicate efficiently with fluent English-speaking teams.
• Proficient in MS suite of Apps – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc. Able to work in a team as team player with positive attitude.
• Strong English report writing and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new processes and applications.
• Experience in FMCG, Water and/or Mining & Metals industries.
• Jakarta based role with possibility of site visit
