Job summary

Worley is seeking a PHE and Fire Fighting Design Engineer for our Indonesia team to deliver water supply, drainage and fire protection system designs for large-scale projects in Jakarta.

The role emphasizes adherence to NFPA, NBC, IS codes and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, compliant and efficient designs and to integrate PHE and fire protection with other building services.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of NFPA, NBC, IS codes and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare concept and detailed design deliverables for water supply, drainage, sewage, stormwater, centralized hot water systems and fire protection.
• Perform water supply demand calculations, pipe sizing, rainwater/stormwater sizing, and basic water treatment plant considerations.
• Design fire protection systems, including hydrants, sprinklers, pumps, and related networks; ensure code compliance.
• Coordinate with architects and other MEP disciplines; prepare design basis, tender drawings, and construction drawings.
• Review shop drawings and support value engineering to optimize cost and efficiency.
