Job summary

PT Nova Chemie Utama is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead the QC team in our Jakarta facility. You will oversee testing, method validation, CAPA, and audit readiness, ensuring materials and products meet stringent quality standards in a high-compliance environment.

The role requires 5–7 years in QC with 2–3 years in a supervisory capacity, a Pharmacy degree, and strong analytical and leadership skills. Familiarity with QMS and laboratory systems is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related field is required; pharmacist qualification preferred.
• 5–7 years of QC experience with 2–3 years in supervisory/managerial roles in pharma.
• Strong knowledge of CPOB/GMP, QMS, and applicable pharma regulations.
• Experience testing raw materials, packaging materials, in-process and finished products.
• Experience with method validation/verification, equipment qualification, and stability management.
• Familiar with OOS, OOT, deviations, CAPA, change control, and lab investigations.
• Experience supporting internal and external audits, including regulatory and customer audits.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage teams, set priorities, and achieve departmental targets.
• Detail-oriented, ethical, and capable of working in high-compliance environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with laboratory systems or QMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all QC activities to ensure materials, processes, and products meet specs and quality standards.
• Ensure lab testing aligns with CPOB/GMP, SOPs, specifications, methods, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee testing of raw materials, packaging, in-process, bulk, finished, and stability samples.
• Ensure reliability, accuracy, and traceability of laboratory results.
• Manage OOS/OOT investigations, deviations, CAPA, change control, and related investigations.
• Oversee maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment as required.
• Support analytical method validation/verification implementation and compliance.
• Review and approve documents, results, investigation reports, and data within authority.
• Promote data integrity across all laboratory activities.
• Prepare QC for regulatory, customer, and internal audits.
• Identify risks and drive continuous improvement programs in QC.
• Develop, monitor, and evaluate QC KPIs (quality, turnaround time, productivity, compliance).
• Provide management with regular QC performance reports and improvement plans.
• Ensure GDP and QA system compliance across all activities.
