Job summary

Ferring Pharmaceuticals in Indonesia is hiring a QC Specialist to support production quality in Gastroenterology and Women's Health initiatives. You will perform QC analyses, calibrate instruments, review data and ensure GMP-aligned documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in pharmaceutical analysis, pharmacy, analytical chemistry, microbiology or related field.
• Prefer pharmacist with active STRA license.
• At least 2 years in pharmaceutical lab QC or 4 years as a lab technician with core technology.
• Experience with GMP documents and guidelines.
• Able to work independently under supervision, strong English language skills.
• Experience handling pharmaceutical raw materials and/or high potent substances.
• Proficient with electronic systems (Empower, TrackWise, Veeva).
• Willingness to participate in training.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC analyses, including instrument check, verification or calibration.
• Prepare and review raw data and results documentation (starting materials, intermediates, bulk, finished goods).
• Carry out internal maintenance and control of QC equipment.
• Validate methods and qualification of instruments.
• Prepare, perform and document aseptic sampling and environmental monitoring.
• Review microbiological tests and follow compendial methods.
• Maintain laboratories with glassware, reagents and disposables; manage inventory.
• Participate in auto maintenance on line and support production validation.
• Support training of new employees and data trending investigations.
