Job summary

PT SMART Tbk is seeking a Pest & Diseases Coordinator (Assistant Manager) to oversee census data collection and outbreak management across Kalimantan and Papua regions. You will supervise census workers and support field interventions to contain pest outbreaks, coordinating with operations on personnel and equipment.

The role requires a strong background in pest and disease control in palm oil plantations, plus hands-on experience with field equipment and robust reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Min Bachelor's degree with Pest & Disease background.
• 7–10 years of experience in Pest & Disease.
• In-depth knowledge of pest and disease control in palm oil plantations.
• Operate equipment such as CKS, Mist Blower, Pulsfog, Drone.
• Ability to report using scientific and technical approaches.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Willingness for intensive field work.
• English proficiency is advantageous.
• Willing to be located in Central Kalimantan plantation.

Job Description:

Collect Data about Pest & Disease census and outbreak

Manage Census workers in each estate

Assist operation to control pest outbreak based on field intervention made

Intensive collaboration with operation in term of workers, equipments, etc

Job Requirement :

Min Bachelor Degree (S1) with background related to Pest & Disease

Having min 7 - 10 years working experience in Pest & Disease

In depth knowledge of pest and disease control in Palm Oil Plantations

Understand to operate equipments (CKS, Mist Blower, Pulsfog, Trunk Drill, Drone, etc)

Capability in reporting (oral and written) with scientific and technical approaches

Good in interpersonal skills

Willing for intensive work in field

Proficiency in English in advantage

Willing to be located in our Palm Oil Plantation (Region Central Kalimantan (Kalteng))
