Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta for a Pearson Edexcel IGCSE Mathematics and Physics Teacher. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging Mathematics and Physics lessons aligned with Pearson Edexcel IGCSE curricula, ensuring clear learning objectives and appropriate assessment methods.

Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, conducting classes, assigning and marking homework and tests, and monitoring student progress. The role involves providing academic support and feedback to students, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with parents or guardians as needed. The teacher will also participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and school activities to contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Strong subject-matter expertise in Mathematics and Physics, with the ability to teach Pearson Edexcel IGCSE level content effectively.
• Proficiency in Mathematics and Physics Education and Teaching, including understanding of pedagogy, classroom management, and differentiated instruction.
• Demonstrated ability in lesson planning, curriculum alignment, and creating assessments that measure learning outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field; teaching certification or relevant professional qualification is an advantage.
• Experience teaching IGCSE or other international curricula, preferably in an international or bilingual school environment.
• Excellent command of English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse students and colleagues.
