Jakarta Multicultural School (JMS) is looking for a passionate, energetic, and responsible PE / Swimming Teacher to join our school community.
Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education and swimming lessons for students.
Teach swimming skills, techniques, and water safety according to students’ abilities.
Create fun, active, and age-appropriate learning activities.
Ensure students’ safety and well-being during PE and swimming lessons.
Monitor and assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
Encourage students to develop physical skills, confidence, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Prepare lesson plans, activities, and learning materials.
Maintain a safe, clean, and positive learning environment.
Support school sports events, competitions, extracurricular activities, and other school programs.
Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to support students’ overall development.
Perform other duties related to PE and swimming programs as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Swimming, or a related field.
Previous experience teaching PE and/or swimming, preferably in a school environment.
Strong swimming skills and good knowledge of water safety.
Experience working with children and students.
Good classroom management and communication skills.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Energetic, patient, responsible, and enthusiastic.
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
Comfortable working in a multicultural school environment.
Swimming instructor, lifeguard, or other relevant certification is an advantage.
