Job summary

Ruang Impian Global is seeking a Partnerships & Business Development Consultant to expand its network of colleges, universities, and language centers across Indonesia, connecting students with Australian study options.

You will identify partners, manage a robust pipeline, and represent the company at events and fairs. Strong negotiation, Bahasa Indonesia and English communication, and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in education consultancy, study-abroad agency, international student recruitment, or institutional partnerships.
• Proven track record of building B2B relationships or partnership pipelines.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-management skills; comfortable pitching to school principals and decision-makers.
• Excellent communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English (spoken and written).
• Willingness to travel within Indonesia for partner visits and education fairs.

Responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and onboard colleges, universities, and language centers as referral/agency partners across Indonesia
• Build and manage a pipeline of institutional partnerships, from first contact through signed MOU/agency agreement
• Represent Ruang Impian Global at education fairs, campus events, and partner meetings
• Develop and nurture long-term relationships with academic counselors, principals, and international office staff
• Drive student referrals from partner institutions and track them through to enrollment — this is where your commission is earned
• Hand off referred students smoothly to our in-house counseling/admissions team, who manage everything on the Australia side
• Report on partnership growth and referral performance to leadership

We specialize in connecting students with top Australian institutions, and we’re expanding our network of college, university, and language-center partners across Indonesia to grow our footprint and student pipeline.

What You’ll Do

• Identify, approach, and onboard colleges, universities, and language centers as referral/agency partners across Indonesia

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of experience in education consultancy, study-abroad agency, international student recruitment, or institutional partnerships (education sector strongly preferred)
• Proven track record of building B2B relationships or partnership pipelines — not just student-facing counseling experience
• Strong negotiation and relationship-management skills; comfortable pitching to school principals and decision-makers
• Excellent communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English (spoken and written)
• Willingness to travel within Indonesia for partner visits and education fairs
• Self-starter who’s motivated by targets and commission, and can work independently to hit them

Nice to Have

• Existing network of contacts in Indonesian education institutions or language centers
• Prior experience at a study-abroad or education consultancy in Surabaya or East Java
• Experience with CRM tools for pipeline tracking
• Prior experience working with Australian education agents, universities, or immigration consultants
