Job description

We’re looking for a Partnerships Executive – Payments to join our growing Jakarta team and support the expansion of Liven’s payments ecosystem across Southeast Asia and ANZ. This is a strategic role at the intersection of partnerships, technology, and payments innovation.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage and grow strategic relationships with PSPs, gateways, processors, and payment aggregators.
  • Lead commercial negotiations covering MDRs, pricing, interchange, and value-added services.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to support seamless integrations and payment routing logic.
  • Drive partner enablement through go-to-market initiatives, joint campaigns, and onboarding strategies.
  • Analyse and optimise key payment KPIs including authorization rates, success ratios, and settlement timelines.
  • Track and act on market trends such as e-wallet adoption, alternative payment methods, real-time payments, and regional regulations.
  • Partner with Compliance and Risk teams to align on KYC/AML, PCI DSS, and cross-border transaction standards.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in partnerships, business development, or account management within payments, PSPs, or fintech.
  • Solid understanding of the payments value chain — issuing, acquiring, interchange, settlement, reconciliation and proven ability to navigate technical discussions with internal teams and partners.
  • Hands‑on experience with card acquiring, e-wallets, direct debit, BNPL, or cross-border payments with strong commercial negotiation skills and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
