Qualifikationen

• Valid Indonesian driving license for buses (SIM B2 Umum).
• At least 5 years of intercity/long-haul driving experience.
• Excellent driving record and safe driving practices.
• Strong ability to navigate complex routes across South Sumatra.
• Customer service-minded and punctual.

• Operate intercity passenger buses safely and efficiently on long-distance routes from Palembang.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and responsible Intercity Bus Driver to operate long-distance routes connecting Palembang with other major cities. This position is critical for ensuring the safe, comfortable, and timely travel of passengers across South Sumatra and beyond. You will be responsible for driving large passenger coaches, managing passenger boarding and disembarking, ensuring compliance with all transportation regulations, and providing a high level of customer service. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in long-haul driving, a strong safety record, and the professionalism required to represent the company on extended journeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate intercity passenger buses safely and efficiently on designated long-distance routes from Palembang.
• Ensure passenger safety during boarding, transit, and disembarking, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Maintain compliance with all national and provincial transportation laws and regulations for intercity travel.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus, reporting and addressing any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
• Manage passenger luggage, ensuring secure storage and accurate handling.
• Provide clear communication and excellent service to passengers throughout the journey.

Requirements

• Valid Indonesian driving license for buses (SIM B2 Umum).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Intercity Bus Driver or similar long-haul passenger transport role.
• Excellent driving record, demonstrating safe driving practices over long distances.
