Job summary

Unilever is seeking a Beauty & Wellbeing ID Asst. Project Manager – Packing Line at the Cikarang Skin Factory.

You will lead packing-line transformations, optimize production and work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of all innovations and changes. The role reports to the Cikarang Engineering & Project Manager and requires leadership in high-risk tasks, strong English communication, and a practical engineering mindset to drive VA-VE and cost-conscious

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with project and engineering tasks.
• Ability to lead on high-risk tasks and complex projects.
• Strong leadership and field orientation.
• Business mindset with organizational and cultural awareness.
• High level of communication, technical skill and teamwork.
• Fluent in business English with strong communication.
• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset.
• Stakeholder management across functions and geographies.
• Proactive and energetic execution.
• Competence in engineering software simulation and MS tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and prioritize packing-line transformation and net productivity projects.
• Ensure on-time delivery while meeting safety, quality, and engineering standards.
• Lead continuous improvement and VA-VE initiatives for sachet, pouch, bottle & tube packing lines.
• Manage project administration from User Specs to Commissioning.
• Adopt new technology and best practices for packing lines.
• Develop strategies to enable low-cost manufacturing and efficiency.
• Assess risk for contractor activities ensuring safety and quality compliance.
• Improve OEE by reducing downtime, stopping occurrences, and waste.
• Maintain availability of critical spare parts and optimize inventory.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Safety, SUIT, Planning, Maintenance, and R&D.
• Drive transformation projects and ensure deployment and capability build-up.
