Job summary

PT Otsuka Indonesia is seeking an experienced Packaging & Process Development Section Head to lead packaging and process development activities within the Manufacturing Process Development department.

This role drives product and process development, packaging development, process validation, and scale-up while ensuring GMP compliance for domestic and export markets; strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy with Professional Pharmacist Qualification (Apoteker).
• Strong experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and product/process development.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Process Development, Packaging Development, and Process Validation.
• Good understanding of packaging materials, packaging processes, and line compatibility trials.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional communication skills.
• Quick learner with strong curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee packaging and process development activities from development through validation and implementation.
• Lead packaging development, line compatibility trials, pilot-scale, and scale-up activities.
• Lead and oversee process validation activities related to packaging and process development.
• Ensure development activities comply with GMP requirements and applicable standards for domestic and export markets.
• Provide technical direction for product and process development projects.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to support development and implementation activities.
