About the role

As the Manager of Operations for Export and Import at PT Kamadjaja Logistics', you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's international trade and logistics operations. In this full-time position based in North Jakarta, Jakarta Raya, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the end-to-end processes related to the import and export of goods, ensuring seamless and efficient operations that support the company's strategic growth objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and oversee all operational aspects of the company's import and export activities, including customs clearance, documentation, and shipment coordination
• Develop and implement streamlined processes and systems to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, procurement, and finance, to align import and export activities with overall business goals
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for improvement and drive continuous operational excellence
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and industry standards related to international trade and logistics
• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar operations management role within the import/export and customs brokerage industry
• Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills to optimise operational efficiency
• Proficient in the use of logistics management software and data analysis tools
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to coordinate with internal and external partners
• Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
