As a Operations Readiness Engineer, you will be responsible to review the detailed engineering design, execution plan, and project execution process.

To succeed in this role, you should have experience in minimum 5-7 years’ experience in mining, oil and gas operations Project.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing the detailed engineering design, execution plan, and project execution process.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure that all construction processes are in accordance with the design and are conducted correctly; create a report and discuss findings that need to be coordinated and followed up.
• Participate in the pre-commissioning process, pre-start commissioning, and the handover process.
• Assist in preparing reports on commissioning and handover results.
• Define the Operations Readiness activity plan to meet the client's Development Project goals and follow up execution.
• Ensuring that Operations and Maintenance procedures are produced in accordance with best practice in a timely manner.
• Monitoring progress of OR activities, reporting significant delays to Project Management and engaging external service providers directly to complete overdue tasks.
• Liaise with Production Operations team to deliver all the existing facilities inputs required for the detail engineering. Communicate proactively with other team members.
• Work with the Project HSE Advisor and the Project Management Team to ensure that all areas of the Project’s operations conform to applicable WorleyParsons, regulatory and contractual HSE obligations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in mining, oil and gas operations Project.
• Prior experience as an operational readiness engineer.
• Prior experience in the mining or resources industry is advantageous.
• Tertiary qualifications in engineering or other relevant discipline.
• Demonstrate behaviour and practices consistent with Managerial, co-worker and community duty of care obligations.
